I promise to do a Christmas post, our camera died Christmas morning, so Jill was nice enough to let us use hers, so I am just waiting on some pictures.
As for January, we have been busy having fun. Life does not seem to slow down around here. Luke went in for his year check up and is growing just as he should be, 25 percentile in height, weight and head. Perfectly even! He love, love, loves books. If it's quiet and we can't find Luke, this is usually what I walk in on.
He is getting quite the personality. He knows what he wants and when he wants it. He has grown attached to his blanket lately, and will hold it and cuddle for hours on end. I let him have it, cause it's the only way I can get cuddle time. He can eat his weight in grapes and the second he lays eyes on them, he immediately will make the "more" sign accompanied by "ooh ooh ooh!!" It's pretty cute. His vocabulary consists of, Mom, Da (Dad), dog, cow, hi, and go. He thinks he's pretty funny cause he knows what sound a snake makes. He will quickly stick his tongue in and out followed by laughing and then wait for you to do it too. He loves to play "So Big!" and peek a poo, and can do most of the actions to Itsy Bitsy Spider and Patty cake. He is once clever boy. Luke loves to run and dance, and I think has a new bruise almost every day, he is all boy!
Wendy came a couple of weeks into January for a visit, so we headed to Disneyland and the beach. The weather was PERFECT! We had such a fun time.
We hit Disneyland first. We got to meet the new Disney Princess from Tangled. Luke was smitten. Kate loved her beautiful hair, and Cole was a little unsure about the whole thing, but ended up giving the Princess a high-five as we left.
We went on the carrousel. Luke is getting the idea, he didn't try to get off this time and rode round and round with Daddy and cousins.
Then Dumbo was a must! Luke liked moving the steering stick up and down, Lizzie and Wendy had a blast, as you can tell from the picture!
Casey Jr. came next, Grandma's favorite ride. Kate chose to sit in the Monkey cage.
As night time came, we had to put on our coast and hats, Grandma Baillio got Luke this little hat for his birthday, isn't he so cute?! We waited off while the big kids when on Autopia.

Next was the beach. Luke had a ball. He played in the sand, ate most of it, and ran in the water. He loved jumping over the waves and laughed and laughed till he couldn't take it anymore. He wanted to play with the "big" kids, but they were just too fast for him!
Wendy, Kate, Lizzie and Cole climbed all the way to the top of the rock, I think Wendy almost had a heart attack, and yes that is Cole all the way up there.
The kidos were crazy and got in the water. It was really warm outside, but the water was FREEZING! They didn't seem to mind
We have been spending our days mostly outside enjoying this beautiful weather we've been lucky enough to have. Austin, Luke and I have made frequent trips to Disneyland and the beach in the last 2 weeks. I think Luke and I are going to be beach bums this summer.
My sweet little guy. He is getting so big! I love watching him grow and learn. It seems like he is growing so much every day.
My mom has a little golf set that Luke loves to play with. He wants to be just like Daddy. He'll push the clubs around and pull out a club, wave it at something then put it back in and move on.
I could sit and watch this little one all day, everyday. I'm so blessed to have such a good little baby.
