We have been spending our days outside, enjoying the beautiful weather we've been having. Our good friends the Steeles', invited us to go to Underwood Farm the other week. It's a farm with tons of animals, playgrounds, trains, and the best part, you can pick your own fruits and veggies. Strawberries are in seasons right now, so we got our fill.
Luke, of course loved the huge wooden train. I only got him away by distracting him with the big tractor.
The Turkey was a big hit with Addison and Luke. They couldn't take their eyes off him!
Then it was on to the strawberry picking. Luke got the hang of it real quick, he was eating his weight in strawberries. He would even eat the stem. He would pick one, eat it, and continue down the line of strawberries. It was pretty funny. Addison loved them too, they were like to peas in a pod, or should I say two seeds in a strawberry field!
We had so much fun with the Steele's, we decided to hit up the Farm again with the Foys! Again the train was a big hit.
This time Luke got to drive the tractor, which he thought was pretty cool.
When we are not at the Farm, we are reading books. Books, books, and more books. We are defiantly getting our use out of our Library card. Although Luke's favorite books is still, "Where the Wild Things Are."
For Memorial Day we started the weekend off at the beach, but quickly packed up and headed to the Steele's pool. It was super windy and cold at the beach and just about perfect at the pool. We were able to spend time with good friends and make a few new ones too!! Somehow I have no pictures from them day, we were just too busy having fun!
On the actual Memorial Day, we went up to our good friends, the Foys. Luke and Marley are just best buds. They love bath time.
We went over to the Foy's ward party, where we ate hot dogs, watermelon, chips, cake, just about everything and anything. Luke throughly enjoyed himself.
There was a big playground that Luke couldn't get enough of, they even had races down the slide.
Luke just learned how to kick the ball. He is getting pretty good at it too. Although I am not a huge fan of soccer, he just might have a future in it!
Austin mastered the stilts, he's a pretty buff guy :) All in all it was a great Memorial Day!
Thank you to all those who serve to keep our country safe. What an amazing country we live in!

Evan won't sit still for "where the wild things are"...although he's starting to really love most books too. It's the best just to sit and snuggle and read to them- huh?! It's funny how they pick their favorites though. Looks like you guys had a blast of a weekend!! -BUSY!
