A few weeks ago we got to take our first trip to the East coast as a family, first time for me and Luke, second for Austin. We were able to spend 5 days in Ocean City, MD with Austin's family. We had such a great time, the weather was perfect, the beach was beautiful and the company was perfect, although we missed Adam and Annjilla and their family very much!!
Here is the whole gang on the board walk. We were able to get some yummy carmel popcorn and cruise the board walk. The rides were down, but there were tons of fun stores to go and look in, and the kids had a blast int he arcade.

In honor of my family I made a sand boat complete with skier, although Brooklyn made it into a car when the boys destroyed the front.
This is one of my favorite pictures. Austin, Luke, Brad and Hunter. The kids were confused with there being two "Daddies" One morning we could not convince Hunter that Austin was not his Daddy. Brad had to come down and work with him for about 10 minutes telling him that he was Brad, Hunter's Daddy and Austin was Uncle Austin, Luke's Daddy. It was pretty funny.
Luke would walk around and when we saw Brad and Austin together, he would take a minute, and then say, "Daddy, not Daddy." Austin was also known as "Fake Daddy."
We couldn't get enough of the beach. I love how you can spend the whole day at the beach and never get sick of it. The beach house we were staying in was about a minute walk from the beach, so it made nap time perfect.
My boat, not as good as Mom's but it'll have to do
Our family on the east coast ocean.
After we got adjusted to the time change, Luke was a happy little camper
This is Hunter's "grumpy" face.
Rub-a-dub-dub, three kiddos in a tub
We had such a great time. Thank you to all who made it possible. We can't wait till the next time we get to see everyone again. Luke is already missing his cousins and "not Daddy".

Looks like a fun trip, but what I really want to know is...did you go to the cookie place on the board walk?

So jealous! I am impressed with your boat making skills. And just remember, mom has a few years on you at the boat making skills. I think you're on your way!
