Vacations!

Life has been a crazy traveling couple of months here at the Baillio house hold. After our trip to New York in September, we decided we needed to get in as much travel time as we could before Luke turned 2!  So we headed up to Winnemucca to be with Adam and Jessica's kids. Jess was going to be headed to Hawaii and I was going to watch the kids, but Adam's body decided he didn't want Jess to go, and had a flare up of a previous issue, so Jess stayed home. It was fun for me, cause I got to hang out with Jess for a few days, then they went to Reno to get help from a bigger hospital.
We put Adam to work while was home sick. He had a round of gout too, so he couldn't get up, a perfect opportunity for story time.
Reno is a pretty small town so we hit up Mac Donalds on night for ice cream. It was pretty fun with this group of monkeys. We went to Walmart, took lots of walks, made movie nigh with popcorn, made chocolate ghosts, put up Halloween and played lots of games.
Adam and Jess have a dog, LD, which Luke LOVED! He would chase that poor dog around and climb in to his bed with him. I bet that dog is glad we are gone.

We also got to go to soccer games. Luke thoroughly enjoyed them. He would try to run on the field with Kjersten. So we decided to be cheerleaders on the side lines. GO KJERSTEN!!

After Winnemucca, we headed to Vegas for a quick trip, bummed it couldn't be longer. Austin's brother, Adam, and his wife Angela were blessing their new baby, August. It was fun to get to know Angela's family. They were all so nice. And Angela was nice enough to invite Jenny and her crew. We had a yummy BBQ at their house, since the weather was a little chilly. We talked and Grandpa got to play with the grandkids. Luke is still asking for "Grandpa Ba-ye-yo"

Why stop there? We were home for a quick nights sleep, did some laundry and headed out the next morning to Seattle to visit one of my very best friends, Trisha. It was so much fun to be able to visit her and her sweet family. Luke loved having 2 boys his size to play with all day long, and having a house full of boy toys! Not one doll in site :)
We went to get donuts and these were the only pictures I took all week! These are Trish's boys, Russell and Vince. So fun.

I was also able to visit some other friends while I was up there too, we got to see the Robinson's, Greenwood's and the Batty's. It was fun for everyone to meet Luke and for us to see how big their big their kids are getting and meet new additions. It really made me miss living up there. I'm grateful for the friends we made while we were there. They are all such amazing people. Trish and I enjoyed the week long visit by talking most of the time. It was so fun to just hang out all day talking and catching up. We also got to go to lunch at Red Robin and my favorite place, Chang's Mongolian Grill. So fun. Although we were missing our sun shine, we were sad to leave our friends. I love you Trish, thanks for a fun week, and I can't wait to see you again soon.

Next up on our list, Thanksgiving,  a trip to Arizona for the Polar express, a birthday party, Christmas and I'm sure a few trips to Disneyland! The fun never seems to stop!

I think I should follow your example and get out more! The adventures never stop for you guys. I love the picture of Luke in LD's bed. Give Mickey a hug for us when you go to Disneyland!

You guys are SO busy! I bet it is fun to be up and running all the time (except for the laundry). I love traveling! Chad would die though. I bet this is great for Luke. He is going to be up for anything, able to sleep where ever and travel for long periods of time!
