We have been go go go, and stay, stay, stay all at the same time. First of all we found out that we will be having a baby boy in July! We are so excited and I'm equally excited for Luke to have a baby brother. He needs someone to be rough and tumble with. Now to think of names...
In January I scored some tickets to see Ellen. Stephanie, Mom and Jenny were able to join in on the fun. Jenny's birthday was right around the same time, so I told her that was her gift from me, I'm super nice that way. We had so much fun. The guests were the dude from Will and Grace, and Jillian Michaels.
We scored super close seats. Ellen even danced right past me and Steph and stopped to dance with Mom and Jenny!
Jenny was really excited...
Next up, our Disneyland passes expired in February, so we tried to get in as many trips as we could. We took a special day, just with Grandma. It was a very slow day and we got to spend some quality time with the characters, even though Luke wasn't excited about it.
We rode the double decker bus AND the horse and buggy, it was a pretty great day.
Luke almost pulled the sword out, just a little bit longer and he would have got it, but we decided to move on to Casey Jr.
We took another special day just with our friends Marley and Levi. Luke had a blast running around with Marley and laughing till they passed out.
Our last special day we took with our family, the Grays and the Fowers. It's always fun with these crazy families. Luke loves his cousins so much, and they are so good to him, letting him go on all the kiddie rides even though they are big enough to go on all the big ones. We will miss going with all our fun friends and family.
The crazy bunch riding Toad.
Paige and Luke on the horses. Goof balls
After our Disney fun was over, we decided to have a few stay in nights. Daddy put up the tent in the family room and we watched movies, ate popcorn and drank root beer. We kept the tent up for a few days till it drove me crazy, but Luke LOVED it.
All the while I am getting bigger and bigger. This is me at 16 weeks. I feel much bigger faster this time around, and everything is so different. I was convinced we were having a girl, just because everything was polar opposite, but our little munchkin fooled us all. I'm worried he's going to be a little kidder.
After we were done being home for a while, we packed up and headed to Arizona to see the Gray Co. and added the Parker Crew. Wendy came for 2 weeks, and although we only have 1 picture, we managed to get in trouble and have fun. We all got sick, minus Wendy and a few of her kids, for a week, but we didn't let that slow us down. We played dress up, went to the park, went shopping, played games and watched Hotel Transylvania about 100 times, thanks to Luke.
My ever growing belly at 19 weeks.
After we got home from Arizona, we decided to start potty training. Luke was a champ. It took 3 days. The first hour I thought he was NEVER going to get it, but then it just clicked! We set the timer for every 15 minutes and drank lots and lots of juice. We found a candy that he actually likes, and once he realized he liked eating the candy and he got it when he went potty, it was smooth sailing. We had one stinky accident, but after that we were good! The 2nd day we had 2 accidents, but they were on the way to the potty, so I figured that was progress. The 3rd day we ventured out to the park and had no accidents. He was dry night, so we did then nights cold turkey too. He's had a few accidents in the night in the last month, but it's usually when we don't monitor his drink intake. I'm so proud of him. He did so great, and Daddy loves not having to change or buy diapers!!
We adults had some fun too, we went on a double date with Steve and Steph. We went to dinner, which took longer than we thought, so we missed our movie and decided to go the mall and dress up they boys. They were such good sports about it. They even did a fashion show for us in the dressing room.
David and Joy came down for the weekend and we packed up and headed down to the OC to spend some time with them. We went to the beach a few times and even though our passes to Disneyland were expired, Grandma took Luke and he had a blast!
We've also been having a great time with friends. It's been beautiful weather and so we've been hitting the park and taking walks.
Luke had been a bundle of joy, most days. He's growing so much and has such a little personality. This month, we are looking forward to Daddy's birthday and Easter.
