Thanksgiving this year was quiet for us. We went down to Mom and Dad's but it was just us this year. Everyone else stayed at home or went to their in-laws. We enjoyed the one on one time with Grandma and Grandpa.
The beach is a must on Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful day, warm and sunny at the beach. Daddy even snuck in a nap while Grandma and Grandpa built sand castles with Luke.
A little boy joined in on the fun. Grandma and Grandpa don't do anything half way. It was the coolest castle on the beach.
Grandma and Luke jumped waves. We have the best Grandparents around.
Of course Daddy had to feed the birds, but I made sure it was far, far, far away from me. Luke got his pants and shirt wet, so he rocked the underwear look. You'd think after all these years, I would remember a swim suit.
We buried Luke a few times, he liked to break out, Hulk style.
We came home and got cleaned up for an amazing dinner. Sam got a super cute outfit from Aunt Kim, complete with a Turkey bum
Daddy played games with Luke and Sam while Mom and I made dinner. Luke loved playing shutes and ladders. I think Santa may bring it to our house.
Mom's beautiful table. She's so amazing, and I'm so grateful she's my mom.
Love my little family
Luke wanted to sleep with Grandma, we had such a fun Thanksgiving.
On Friday, we went out shopping, got lots of fun things. waited in line at Khols for an hour and a half, but it was totally worth it. Saturday morning Austin and I were able to go to the temple. It was so nice to be able to go and enjoy the session. Mom and Dad met us outside after we got out and we headed to Fashion Island for lunch, check out the koi pond, and the huge Christmas tree. Luke liked climbing on the huge presents. Sam was fascinated with the huge ornaments.
After that we headed to Roger's Garden. Another one of my most favorite places durning the holidays. We walked right up to Santa. There was no line! This was the first year Luke didn't cry. He climbed right up on his lap and asked for some fun new toys. I think he is getting the idea of the Santa thing.
My happy, content baby Sam had no problem either. Santa said he would bring him something fun too.
We got a bell from Santa and some candy, but Luke told Santa no thank you for the candy and just took the bell. We had a great Thanksgiving. I feel so blessed.
