My sweet cousin, Megan, passed away a few weeks ago, Luke and I were able to go to her funeral in Utah. It was a great service. We love you Meggy. It was so fun to see our family that we haven't seen in a while, although the reason wasn't the best, it was still a great trip.
We were able to stay with Brooke and Aaron and spend a few fun days with them. We were able to go to a Halloween festival, the kids enjoyed being silly, getting their faces painted and getting balloon animals.
Grace and Luke were the best of buddies. They would walk around saying, "Your my Buddy, huh?"
Luke and Emma sitting with the scary witch
Brooke runs a Preschool and it just so happened that the last day we were in Utah, she was taking the kids to the farm. So we got to tag along. Luke and Grace loved riding the horses
Carter loved it too. This would never happen in California, no seat belts, no attendant. They just let Carter go alone. So Grandpa walked around with Carter at the request of Grandma.
Luke was Grace's little shadow. We miss her so much.
Since I was a slacker at home, I'm grateful Brooke was on the ball so we could go to the pumpkin patch farm this Halloween. I'm so grateful for my eternal family.
Here's a little video of Grace and Luke. They are such cuties.

Even though the circumstances were not that great, it looks like it turned out to be a fun trip. I love Thanksgiving point. We will have to go again, but for happier reasons.
Love the Mr. Potato head stuff. He's still my favorite toy.
So sad about your cousin.
What cute pictures though. Luke is too cute! Love being by family!!
Too cute! He is growing up so fast and the picture of him on the horse looks just like one I have of Cole at that age. Time flies. And I am glad that you were there when I couldn't be for Megan.
