Halloween started out with a trip to the pumpkin patch with our good friends, The Barrus' and Alyson Berg. Alyson is a super talented photographer and she wanted to follow us around the patch and catch some memories. It was really fun and Luke and Sam had a blast running around the patch.
We also got to do Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland, but for some reason, I only got dark pictures of. We had a blast there with the Barrus' and enjoyed Disneyland with hardly anyone there!!
Then it was off to Vegas. Austin had his very first trial which was scheduled to go for 2 weeks, so we decided to join in the fun and play with Jenny and Jill for 2 weeks! We got to go on a field trip with Scott to the pumpkin patch, the teacher was so nice and even let Luke pick out a pumpkin. He liked the little ones the best.
He loved following Scott around, and being a "big kid."
We got a tour around the patch on a tractor and it's a working farm, they taught us that bees make apples. We wont be going back let's just say...
Jill's ward threw a trunk or treat, and Jill was in charge of the face painting station, Luke was a cat, first time he ever has let someone paint his face. Pier pressure at it's finest
It was such great weather we headed to the park for some fun with all the kiddos. Jenny was nice enough to wear Sam most of the time.
The kids even ran through the splash pad part of the park, crazy kids.
That night, Jill and Matt hosted a Halloween party. We carved pumpkins and watch thriller on a big screen. I didn't realize it was the "full" version of Thriller and my 3 year old was standing right in front of the huge screen as Michael Jackson transformed into a ware wolf....mother of the year.
Luke didn't want to carve the pumpkin, so we just drew a face on him. Devan was hard at work carving away.
My silly sisters. We missed Kim and Wendy, but managed to have some fun.
Halloween night was spent at Jenny's house. She had some families come and go trick or treating with us, it was fun to have a group of kids. Luke tuckered out after about 2 streets, so we came home and played Kirby's Yarn, a new favorite Wii game.
The trick or treating crew
Luke requested to be Darth Vader. He kept saying, "Come to the Dark Side." Cutest Darth I've ever seen.
Happy Halloween!

Man, you live the life baby! What a fun way to spend Halloween! Love the Darth costume and the pumpkin patch pictures are perfect. Next year tell Austin he needs to do a trial here in Arizona so we can share it with you too...then I'll tell Jenny and Jill they need a road trip. :)
